MSCI

MSCI ESG Research is designed to help investors identify ESG risks and opportunities within their portfolio. MSCI research and rate companies on a 'AAA' to 'CCC' scale according to their exposure to industry-specific ESG risks and their ability to manage those relative to peers.

In January 2022, Fugro was re-classified to the Construction & Engineering industry, having expanded beyond offshore oil and gas services into the energy and infrastructure markets. Its focus on geological services presents opportunities to design resilient structures, in light of the energy transition trend and rising sea levels. This also results in an emphasis on talent management due to the reliance on specialized engineering skills. Fugro also continues to lead global peers on governance structures.
