What information do we collect on our website?
When someone visits www.fugro.com we use a third party service from Google Analytics to collect information and details of visitor behaviour. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. We use the information collected from the website to personalise your repeat visits to our website and to help us improve your user experience.
We collect personally identifiable information when you fill out a contact form on the website but will only ask you to provide the appropriate level of information in order for us to process your request. We collect personally identifiable information when you voluntarily subscribe to be included on our email distribution lists. You can update your preferences or unsubscribe from email notifications at any time by following the instructions on our subscription page.
People who contact us via social media
We use a third-party provider, Hootsuite, to manage our social media interactions. If you send us a private or direct message via social media the message will be stored by Hootsuite. It will not be shared with any other organisations.
How will information about you be used?
Fugro does not sell or otherwise release your personal information to third parties to allow them to market their products and services directly to you. To provide our products and services we may, however, need to share your personal information with other companies within the Fugro Group and/or third-party service providers that process data on our behalf. If you submit personal information to Fugro, you agree to such disclosure.
Where do we store your personal data?
Data collected from the website commercial contact forms (not from supplier or careers forms) are encrypted and transferred securely into our CRM database which allows us to efficiently respond to your enquiry.
As Fugro operates globally, we may want to transfer your personal information to other countries, including countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). However, while in our control, we always ensure that your personal information receives the same level of protection as it would have had it stayed within the EEA, including seeking to ensure that it is kept secure and used only in accordance with our instructions and for the agreed purpose(s).
We reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law, or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, request from a regulator or any other legal process served on Fugro. In the event that Fugro is subject to a takeover, divestment or acquisition we may disclose your personal information to the new owner of the business.

You have the right to access your personal data and ask for it to be updated or deleted at any time.
