Job Description

In this position you are responsible for the design of electronic data acquisition and control products. You work on hardware for capturing precision sensor signals for force, pressure, temperature, etc. You also work with power electronics for controlling valves and motors; Your work is all part of complex installations used for site characterization, both onshore and offshore. Once you have finalized the product, you may have the opportunity to witness its’ use in real life.

Your role

  • You work on architectural designs, schematics, and printed circuit boards, testing and verification of new circuits. With your “can do” attitude you will find the right solutions and ideas;

  • You take care of complete systems and are responsible for the selection of sensors, power converters and motor control;

  • You are involved in the production of prototypes, test procedures and technical documentation;

  • You work independently on new designs and cooperate with mechanical and software engineers where needed.

Your track record

  • You have a BSc or Master degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and have affinity with mechanical design;

  • You have demonstrated experience in circuit and PCB design, signal integrity and EMC;

  • You are familiar with microcontrollers and preferably also with FPGAs;

  • You are familiar with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, Ethernet, and CAN-bus.
