Fugro is gearing up for a dynamic return to the 2023 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) at the NRG Park in Houston, Texas, next week.

As a supporting sponsor and exhibitor in the Energy Transition Pavilion, Fugro will showcase their innovative Geo-data solutions to offshore energy professionals from over 90 countries. The OTC conference provides a unique opportunity for Fugro to collaborate with existing and prospective clients, exchanging ideas on the evolving energy landscape and demonstrating their commitment to driving the energy transition forward.

In line with their purpose of “together we create a safe and liveable world,” Fugro experts will be available at Booth ET2768 throughout the conference to discuss solutions for Geo-data acquisition, analysis and advice in support of various offshore energy activities. These include offshore wind, floating LNG, carbon capture and storage, and oil and gas inspection. Remote and autonomous technologies will be at the forefront of these conversations, as the company’s cutting edge capabilities drive the evolution of modular, lightly crewed and uncrewed vessels supported by a global network of remote operating centres for faster, safer and more sustainable projects.

“We are thrilled to be back at OTC, showcasing our talent and technologies in support of the energy transition,” said Céline Gerson, Fugro’s Group Director of the Americas and President of Fugro USA. “Fugro is committed to supporting our clients in achieving their individual project and overall sustainability goals and we do that by leveraging our considerable resources to provide safe, reliable and cost effective solutions at a reduced carbon footprint.”

Gerson will be in attendance, along with several members of her leadership team. They will be walking the floor, meeting with clients and attending technical presentations, including those of Fugro employees who total nine posters and papers on the programme agenda.

Fugro CEO Mark Heine will also be making his return to the conference. In addition to representing Fugro, Heine will participate at the IRO Netherlands Pavilion, an independent non-profit organisation for Dutch suppliers in the offshore energy industry. Fugro has been an active member of the IRO for decades and Heine was named chair of the organisation last June.
