Fugro has concluded its investigation into the Fugro data that was stolen as part of the cyber security incident at Accellion, a California-based third-party supplier, as first reported on 12 February 2021.

Based on the information that was published, Fugro has been able to determine that certain personal data of approx. 50 employees was compromised through a secure file transfer application (FTA) hosted by Accellion. No share price sensitive data was accessed and there was no access to data on Fugro’s systems. Fugro has informed the affected employees personally, as well as the Dutch Data Protection Authority (DPA). Fugro employs around 9,000 people worldwide.
