Digital Workflow Specialist

Job Description

We’re looking for a Digital Workflow Specialist to join our team in Nootdorp, Netherlands. If you’re interested in digital solutions and enjoy working with people to make everyday processes run more smoothly, this role could be a great fit. You will contribute to the rollout of our global digital strategy, working closely with business teams to design and implement clear, practical workflows that are easy to adopt. Your first challenge will be to take ownership of Geo.Planner, our in-house tool for project management and resource planning of our commercial projects. You’ll work closely with our Digital Efficiency Expert, who focuses on adoption and change management, while you lead the technical side of product.

Fugro is the world’s leading Geo-data specialist, operating in 57 countries. We deliver critical insights for infrastructure, energy, and environmental projects. In this role, you will join the global Land Geo-data Digitalisation team, leveraging secure digital tools to streamline the entire data supply chain, from project initiation to final delivery, helping us work smarter and faster.

Your role

• You oversee and drive software delivery by managing the backlog, coordinating cross‑functional teams and vendors, applying Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies, and ensuring delivery against scope, time, budget, and schedule;

• You translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements;

• You support operations as the first and second line of defense for workflow and application issues;

• You create documentation and training materials, including comprehensive guides and SOPs, for global adoption;

• You monitor governance and improvement by tracking performance, identifying enhancements, and ensuring compliance with standards;

• You leverage AI capabilities by integrating them into workflows and designing agentic processes that automate decision‑making and optimize efficiency.

Your track record

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Business IT & Management, Business & Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field;

• You bring a strong digital background with hands‑on expertise in workflow‑driven products or integrated systems (2+ years);

• You have practical experience working in low‑code environments;

• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken; Dutch language skills are a plus.

What Fugro offers

• Based on your relevant experience, the salary ranges from €3.400 to €4100. This amount is part of our salary range, with opportunities for growth within the role;
