Job Description

With the centralization of Procurement and Supply Chain Management (P&SC) organization, Fugro is on an exciting journey to accelerate growth and value creation. The Supply Chain Manager has a key role to play in this initiative by leading and optimizing our Travel, Logistics and Warehouse teams.

Fugro is looking for a highly organized and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, including travel, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for  ensuring  the  efficient  crew  travel,  receipt,  storage,  and  distribution  of  goods,  while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.

The  Supply  Chain  Manager  will  dedicate  approximately  25%  of  their  time  to  hands-on  logistics operations, including domestic and international shipments, while overseeing and leading the broader supply chain functions such as crew travel, warehouse operations and import/export compliance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.

  • Assist with management, planning and coordinating logistics operations including inbound and outbound shipments both domestically and internationally.

  • Manage  relationships  with  carriers,  freight  forwarders,  and  third-party logistic providers.

  • Optimize  transportation  routes  and  costs  while  ensuring  timely delivery.

  • Allocate  approximately  50%  of  time  to  direct  logistics  execution,including shipment coordination and carrier management, ensuring and on-site support and operational continuity.

  • Ensure  compliance  with  shipping  regulations,  customs  and  safety standards.

  • Track  and  report  key  logistics  metrics  (e.g.  deliver  times, freight costs, cost savings, carrier performance.

  • Requests  quotes  for,  arrange  and  coordinate  both  domestic  and international shipments as requested by operations and project management personnel.

  • Responds to logistics and import/export compliance related inquiries from operations and project management personnel.

  • Oversee  daily  warehouse  operations  including  receiving,  storage,picking, packing and shipping.

  • Maintain  accurate  inventory  records  and  conduct  regular  cycle counts and audits.

  • Implement and ensure warehouse safety protocols and cleanliness standards.

  • Collaborate  with  suppliers,  port  agencies,  and  partners  to  ensure timely, safe, and effective deployment of materials, spare parts, and equipment required for operations/ service lines requirements.

  • Collaborate  with  procurement,  and  Business  to  ensure  teams  arealigned on supply chain needs.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Supervises  team  of  up  to  5  people  that  are  direct  reports  to  coordinates  activities  ensuring  on  time  delivery  of  project  critical equipment.

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for the supply chain team, ensuring alignment with Fugro’s Regional and Global goals.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between logistics, travel,warehouse, and compliance teams to drive operational excellence.

  • Develop  and  implement  KPI’s  and  performance  metrics  across all supply chain functions.

  • Proven  experience  leading  cross-functional  supply  chain  teams  in  adynamic, international environment.

  • Experience with Crew Travel, domestic and international logistics expertise, and warehouse management.

Job Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.

  • Bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited college or university.

  • Have 7 years or more in logistics management, including import/export across the Americas.

  • Proven leadership of cross-functional supply chain teams in international settings.

  • Expertise in crew travel, domestic/international logistics, and warehouse operations.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret technical and regulatory materials.

  • Proficient in MS Office and other software applications.

  • Highly organized with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
