Job responsibilities:
Managing the maintenance, repairs, testing and calibration of equipment for operational use,
Ensuring operations are aligned with company and/or manufacturers standards and procedures.
Carrying out staff development, performance appraisal and training requirement duties.
Overall knowledge and understanding of the drilling systems and equipment operated by the Company.
In depth knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems combined with a good working knowledge of the associated electrical control systems
Allocation and prioritization of company resources to meet project requirements and mobilization deadlines.
Offer technical advice to Drilling Supervisor and Rig Mechanic to facilitate performance of their duties.
Supervision of base and offshore personnel when they are assigned to maintenance duties.
·Liaison with the Technical Manager to assist with technical planning and resourcing of projects
Oversee spare parts and consumable levels to support operations.
You bring (qualifications & experience)
Bachelors in mechanical engineering or equivalent
Excellent communication skills in English
Minimum of 3 Years supervision of plant maintenance
Working experience for offshore or Marine Environment.
Extensive experience working with hydraulics and PLC control systems.
