UN Global Compact
In 2021, Fugro became a signatory of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, a voluntary initiative based on CEO commitments to implement sustainability principles and support UN goals.
Being a signatory of the UN Global Compact requires corporations to uphold its Ten Principles. In doing so, this means that we:
align our strategies and operations with universal principles on human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption
take strategic actions to advance broader societal goals such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals
incorporate values that set the stage for long-term success
Communication on Progress
To support the UN Global Compact’s Ten Principles, we submit our Communication on Progress (COP), describing our efforts to implement these principles, and those of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Below, you can find the link the UN Global Compact website, displaying Fugro’s profile, and all our submitted COPs. This includes a letter of commitment from our CEO, illustrating the main initiatives taken in the last year, and which of the Ten Principles it aligns with. There is also a reference table describing where in the annual report further details can be found.
