Accelerating our positive impact

As part of our sustainability efforts to accelerate our positive impact, we focus on four strategic areas:

• Renewables: We support the global transition to renewable energy, particularly offshore wind, by providing the Geo-data and insights developers need across the entire offshore wind farm lifecycle.

• Ocean health & biodiversity: We advance ocean health and biodiversity by using Geo-data to map, model and monitor marine ecosystems. Our work helps identify critical habitats, track biodiversity changes and inform conservation and restoration initiatives. We also provide nature-based solutions that enhance biodiversity, restore marine environments and contribute to a more resilient blue economy.

• Coastal resilience: We strengthen coastal resilience by mapping, modelling and monitoring climate-related risks such as sea-level rise, erosion and extreme weather. By combining Geo-data with digital tools and nature-based solutions, we help protect vital ecosystems, like mangroves and coral reefs, while supporting communities and infrastructure in adapting to climate impacts.

• Carbon capture, utilisation, and storage: Carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS) is a set of technologies designed to capture carbon dioxide emissions from industrial sources, transport them, and either store them safely underground or reuse them in products and processes. Our role is to provide the critical Geo-data and technical expertise needed to plan, design, and operate CCUS infrastructure safely and efficiently, helping industries reduce emissions and support the transition to a low-carbon future.
