InclinoCam® is a compact system that consists of a basic spread of two cameras with a spare set for redundancy or as secondary method. Easy to deploy, InclinoCam® fits onto all construction vessels and can be operated independently by one surveyor located anywhere on the vessel. The system achieves continuous verticality and heading measurements using high-resolution computer-vision cameras and sophisticated tracking algorithms enabling edge detection of monopile outlines.
InclinoCam® enables continuous piling operations even during low visibility and adverse weather conditions. The two weather-resistant computer-vision cameras are mounted onto the construction vessel at an angle between 70 ° and 110 ° away from each other positioned facing the monopile. Each camera has an inertial motion unit (IMU) to account for vessel dynamics. The camera images and IMU data are accurately time stamped, processed and synchronised using our Starfix® navigation suite. The user-friendly interface provides intuitive insights and visualisations for the heading and inclination of the monopile to support real-time decision making for your offshore wind project.
