Job Description

The Field/Project Manager will hold responsibilities for all phases of project operations, including but not limited to, assisting in the preparation of proposals, presentation of capabilities to potential clients, compliance with contract review, project setup, project delivery, communicating specifications, monitoring, and reporting progress, schedule, budget monitoring, third party cost control, coordinating project teams, revenue recognition and invoicing, and project closeout for all phases and customers.
Job Responsibilities:

Review and verify project planning, resources, materials before commencement, including third party estimates, job cost setup, sub-contracts, boundaries, distribution and materials.
Ensure project completion in adherence with client requirements, applicable specifications, regulations, the contract/agreement, and perform final closeout in accordance with quality system requirements.
Provide short-term planning for the works by ensuring that the project has the correct equipment, spares, consumables, documentation, and drilling methodology for ongoing works.
Provide timely and effective communication to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain regular communication with clients to identify future business opportunities and promote additional work.
Monitor the financial aspects of projects, including billing, third party cost control, internal cost control and other related items.
Prepare invoice requests through analysis of job-to-date vs. budget, direct hours, receivables, WIP, accrued expenses, subcontractor activity, and backlog.
Coordinate with finance to support collection of aging receivables, provide visibility on outstanding technical or production issues, and assist with client follow up as needed.
Identify training needs, develop training plans, and oversee staff development and knowledge transfer.

Job Requirements:
Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. An associate’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geosciences is preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) highly preferred.
Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management and drilling industry.
Marine safety qualifications, such as BOSIET, OGUK an advantage, physical ability to obtain if not already held.
Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is highly preferred.
Work is primarily conducted on a worksite, project location in both north and South America. Work will also be conducted in an office environment.
Hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
Currently hold or have ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel requirements.
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, both internal and external
Possess technical depth and creativity to be able to make sound decisions and to guide and direct project teams and multiple full project life cycles
Travel up to 50% is required for this role.
