Achieve key operational targets, including uptime, regulatory compliance and maintenance schedule adherence.
Manage and optimise the annual repair & maintenance budget with a focus on safety, efficiency and value.
Responsibilities
Oversee all technical and mechanical systems on our Jack ups including hydraulics and jacking systems ensuring they meet operational and regulatory standards.
Plan, schedule and coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance in line with Class, Flag and UK QHSE requirements.
Act as the link between vessel teams, procurement, contractors and the wider Fugro technical community to ensure smooth, timely maintenance and repairs.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications and maintenance activities, always upholding Fugro’s safety-first culture.
Support dry dock periods, maintenance campaigns and broader marine plant operations when required.

Proven experience in marine engineering or asset management, including time spent in a supervisory or senior technical role.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems such as hydraulics, jacking systems and offshore plant equipment.
Good understanding of UK QHSE legislation (LOLER, PUWER, HSWA), Class rules and Flag state requirements.
