As the Regional Planner you take the lead in coordinating offshore data acquisition activities and managing in office geotechnical resources to ensure every project runs smoothly from data collection to final reporting. This role places you at the heart of operations where you will balance people, schedules and technical priorities to deliver high quality geo data services that meet client expectations.
Your ability to adapt plans, guide engineering teams and maintain strong communication across the department will be key to delivering accurate and timely results. Your role
You plan and manage offshore geotechnical data acquisition schedules, personnel deployment, and back‑to‑back engineer rotations;
You allocate in‑office engineering resources, balance workloads, and ensure timely, high‑quality client reporting;
You maintain effective staffing levels, forecast resource needs, and support performance and development discussions;
You lead pre‑ and post‑offshore briefings to ensure alignment on QHSE standards and to capture improvement feedback;
You ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, security, and environmental requirements across all operations;
You adapt departmental plans, refine technical processes, and uphold best‑practice standards based on operational insights;
You collaborate with project managers, logistics, training, and reporting teams to ensure smooth coordination and knowledge sharing.
Your track record
You hold a BSc. degree in geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, or a related technical field;
You have proven experience in strategic resource planning within complex multi‑project environments and in geotechnical/offshore data acquisition contexts;
You have a background in leading teams across offshore and in‑office environments, including performance guidance and staffing support;
You possess strong knowledge of offshore geotechnical data acquisition, data processing/reporting workflows, and the ability to adapt plans to shifting priorities;
You have excellent planning, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills; proficient in English, with an additional European language as an advantage.
