Job Description

For our global sustainability department, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven ESG Reporting specialist.  You will join a dynamic team of sustainability professionals, each with their own area of expertise. The global sustainability team, amongst others, advises the board on ESG policies and ESG performance management based on priorities determined during the double materiality assessment. All team members have frequent interactions with internal and external stakeholders to ensure ESG is fully embedded in our day-to-day operations.

As the ESG reporting specialist you work closely with the sustainability manager in ESG reporting projects and the preparation of the annual report in accordance with CSRD/ESRS. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable, transparent, and forward-looking ESG reporting.

Your role

  • You stay on top of the latest ESG reporting developments and translate them into concrete actions and deliverables;

  • You develop implementation plans in collaboration with key departments such as HR, Legal, HSSE, and Finance;

  • You work on the continuous improvement of auditable ESG data collection and the internal control framework for ESG reporting;

  • You coordinate the GHG emission data collection from 52 countries, perform data analysis, and maintain the GHG emission dashboard;

  • You contribute to the preparation of quantitative and qualitative ESG disclosures for the annual report and other frameworks such as the UN Global Compact and CDP.

Your track record

  • You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team;

  • You work with a high level of accuracy and have good data analytical skills;

  • You have a relevant master’s degree, for example in accountancy, controlling or sustainability management and at least 3 years’ experience in corporate sustainability reporting in an international company or in accountancy, sustainability assurance and/or consulting;

  • You have the ability to draft high quality and accurate external ESG reporting with both qualitative narratives and quantitative information;

  • Fluent English writing and speaking skills;

  • You bring working knowledge of CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, IFRS-ISSB, TCFD, TNFD, the GHG Protocol, SDGs, and SBTi.
