Your role
As Business Director Land Netherlands, you are the face of Fugro’s Land Business in the country. You are responsible for developing and executing a strong commercial strategy that strengthens our market position and delivers sustainable growth.
You lead the integrated delivery of projects across multiple service lines (such as Site Screening & Consulting, Site Investigation, Nearshore and Inspection & Monitoring) and work closely with colleagues both locally and internationally. You manage a team of service line managers, commercial professionals and project managers, and foster a culture of collaboration, client focus and innovation.
Your responsibilities include:
Driving revenue growth and profitability within the Dutch Land Business;
Developing strategic client relationships and key account management;
Leading integrated project proposals and execution;
Promoting innovation and sustainability within projects and processes;
Strengthening our safety culture and ensuring compliance with HSSE standards.
You report to the Regional Business Line Director Land (Europe-Africa) and are part of the regional leadership team.
Your track record
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Science or Business Management;
You have extensive experience in project management, business development and client engagement within consultancy or site characterisation, preferably in the Land or Marine sector;
You have a proven track record in leading commercial and project teams within a matrix organisation;
You are strategically strong, client-focused and able to identify and act on opportunities early;
You are fluent in both Dutch and English;
You have a passion for leadership, innovation and developing people.
