Job Description

Job Specifications:

■  Graduation Qualifications: Bachelor degree from scientific college

■  NEBOSH international General certificate

■ ISO-9001& ISO 45001 Lead Auditor

■   Working Experience: 10+ years in equivalent positions preferably Oil and Gas industry

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure Fugro SAE HSE Management System is in place while working in the yard

  • Ensure that HSE Policies, procedures and practices are disseminated and explained to shop floor level and contractor employees that work in Fugro SAE

  • Work in cooperation with operations, logistics, technical and Fugro SAE different departments to ensure compliance with company HSE policies and procedures, regulations

  • Participate in planned general Inspections and ensure that corrective actions are implemented on work site.

  • Audit work being performed with ''Safe Work Permit”;

  • Assist local management in the preparation and presentation of HSE committee meetings.

  • Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses.

  • Review and analyze accidents and near miss incidents and making corrective action recommendations.

  • Conduct regular emergency response exercises and drills in the field to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency.

  • Maintains records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements;

  • Supervises the regular inspection and testing of all firefighting, safety and emergency response equipment including fixed and portable extinguishing systems.

  • Follows up to ensure that corrective actions are implemented where necessary and ensures that any certification requirements are complied with

  • Program health and hygiene inspection for Fugro SAE

  • Familiarize line managers, supervisors and contractors with all governmental HSE regulations and requirements that affect their operational activities

  • Coordinate and participate in the provision of safety awareness, emergency response and first aid training and awareness programs, to ensure the highest level of safety awareness amongst employees and contractors

  • Ensure that operations employees, contractors and site visitors receive HSE inductions .

  • Participate in the development and implementation of Fugro SAE HSE strategic objectives .

  • Responsible for preparing written daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports, statistics and presentations related to HSE performance

  • Prepare purchase orders, work orders and service orders, as agreed with QHSE manager.

  • Maintain the IMPACT reports ready for regional reporting according to the reporting table

  • Main IMPACT administrator for FSAE

  • Train FSAE’s Employees on the effective use of IMPACT

  • Auditing of FSAE contractors and subcontractors as required.

  • Plan for FSAE’s PPE needs annually
