Job Description

For our HQ in Leidschendam, we are looking for a Business Excellence Manager within the IT Application Services department. You play a crucial role in defining, establishing and monitoring all Governance processes within the department to guarantee smooth operation of IT Application life cycle and other standardised processes within IT Application Services.

As an IT Business Excellence manager, you ensure that the complex application environment meets the organization's security policies, best practices, and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for managing, monitoring, governing and executing of all processes covering the entire IT Application Services organization.

Your role:

  • You coordinate Quality assurance, including testing, deployment & release management;

  • You are responsible for audit and control within the IT Application Services Department;

  • You define, implement and monitor new IT Governance processes to ensure the Application Life Cycle Process;

  • You oversee the Project & Portfolio Management process of the Department, and advise on project and resource prioritisation;

  • You have a managing and coaching role for Project Managers;

  • You oversee Contract & License Management.

Your track record:

  • You have a Bsc or Msc degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field;

  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience in IT Governance, business operations or similar roles;

  • You have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders (stakeholder management);

  • You can identify and implement opportunities for organizational and governance improvements;

  • You can delegate, document and apply IT Governance processes;

  • You are proficient in cross-team and client collaboration;

  • You have excellent English language skills both written and oral.
