As we expand our footprint into the North American geotechnical market, we are seeking a driven, knowledgeable, and skilled individual to lead our sales efforts and provide unparalleled technical support in the region.

As the Regional Sales and Technical Support Manager for GeoDin in North America, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and ensuring our clients receive the highest level of support. This dual-focused role requires a unique blend of sales acumen, technical expertise, and customer service skills. You will be the face of GeoDin in the region, responsible for not only driving sales but also for being the product expert that clients can rely on for solutions and support. You will be part of the Fugro USA regional headquarters, as part of the regional land site characterization and geo-consultancy group, reporting functionally to GeoDin global management in the Netherlands.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities, expanding our clientele and market presence.

  • Set up trials with potential clients and assist in onboarding new clients, ensuring a seamless transition and a positive start to their GeoDin journey.

  • Perform engaging and informative product demonstrations tailored to each client's specific needs.

  • Attend commercial events, representing GeoDin, and networking with potential clients to generate leads and sales opportunities.

  • Technical Support and Expertise – Become the regional expert on GeoDin, providing front-line support to clients.

  • Ensure smooth onboarding of clients, lead the setup of their configurations, and initially provide training and workshops when needed.

  • Address and resolve client issues promptly as they arise, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Relay complex technical or unresolved issues to the global support & core development teams in Europe, acting as a liaison between clients and the technical team to ensure effective solutions are found and implemented.

  • Identify structural improvements, development areas, and features for GeoDin based on regional client feedback and market developments and distill these for the global team to ensure GeoDin fulfills and exceeds regional market needs.

Job Requirements:

  • Authorized to work in the United States, without restriction.

  • Bachelor's degree in geotechnical engineering, GIS, Civil Engineering, Geology, or related disciplines is preferred but not required.

  • Strong technical background, preferably in geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, or geology.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales/business development

  • Demonstrated passion for digital solutions and technology trends, with a keen aptitude for leveraging digital tools and platforms to drive business outcomes and enhance customer experience.

  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within the geotechnical or related technical software market.

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex software solutions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships and trust with clients.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to travel within the region for client visits, product demonstrations, and commercial events. Attend global team gatherings, when needed, in Europe.
