Job Description

For our Satellite Positioning Team, we are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Manager to bring our critical software processes to the next level.

At Fugro, we readily tap into the potential of our global network of reference stations, monitoring satellite signals and correcting their accuracy. Why? So, we can provide our clients with precise, reliable, and real-time insights about the project site. Everything clients need to support precise positioning and safe navigation.

In this role, you develop, document, and maintain a Software Quality Assurance system. You work closely with our innovation teams in Nootdorp, Oslo and Houston. Although you do not have direct reports in the beginning, it is a high visibility position: you provide technical direction, coaching, guidance, and support to software development teams and report directly to the GNSS R&D head. Your strong interpersonal skills and vision on QA are instrumental in making our satellite positioning services even more accurate and reliable.

Your role

  • You evaluate existing software development systems and develop quality objectives;

  • You develop and maintain QA systems based on requirements from the business;

  • You take part in design and development of software plans and oversee the execution;

  • You provide technical direction, coaching, guidance, and support to team members.

Your track record

  • You have a MSc degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant field;

  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role or in the role of QA engineer in an industry that involves safe software processes, preferably automotive;

  • You have an innovative approach and always strive for operational excellence in all goals;

  • You are pro-active, dynamic, dedicated, and responsible;

  • You have strong interpersonal skills and good knowledge of the English language (verbal and written).

What Fugro offers

  • A competitive salary;

  • 29 holidays per year based on a fulltime employment (of which 4 are appointed by Fugro management) and the possibility to purchase 12 additional days;

  • Extensive career & training opportunities both nationally and internationally;

  • Flexible working hours and the ability to work from home in accordance with your manager and corporate policies;

  • Commuting allowance;

  • Modern pension scheme;

  • Collective health insurance;

  • Possibility to register with our corporate fitness plan;

  • Coaching options through our EAP (Employee Assistance Program).
