Job Description

The role:

The successful candidate will run/lead projects of low to medium complexity by planning and executing of positioning and navigation tasks and data acquisition. You will also be responsible for the correct offsets, measurements and calibrations of positioning equipment, the set-up and/or operation of survey equipment.

Your work will be heavily involved in the acquisition of geophysical data and the planning of survey operations, including assessing tides, weather, line plans, transit times and water depths.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable carrying out computations and the compilation of survey reports.

Who we're looking for:

Someone who has experience or drive to collect and process hydrographic data from sites throughout UK waters and overseas. Someone who can play a key role in the collection of geophysical data to survey specification using multibeam bathymetry, sidescan sonar, magnetometer, sub-bottom profiler, ROV and UHRS systems. You may have knowledge of navigation systems and software including GPS, RTK GPS, USBL, PPK GPS, and Starfix software.

Requires a college or university degree.
