Responsibilities:

  • Conduct literature review, data analysis, inspection, monitoring and site survey;

  • To manage and implement environmental-related consultancy projects in Hong Kong related to environmental monitoring and audit (EM&A), environmental impact assessment (EIA) projects;

  • Liaison and coordination with regulatory authorities and relevant stakeholders on implementation of environmental monitoring and audit programme for major projects;

  • To represent the company, identify and develop business opportunities, manage projects and lead a project team for deliverables;

  • To prepare professional consultancy reports, technical proposals or presentation and other relevant submissions;

  • To review and check environmental computer modelling for air quality /noise impact assessment;

  • To review and prepare EIA / EM&A report.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above in Environmental Engineering, Science, Management or related disciplines;

  • At least 5 years of experience in EM&A for infrastructure projects;

  • Conversant with Hong Kong environmental legislation and regulations, and its application on infrastructure and property development projects;

  • Proven hands-on experience in environmental impact assessment reports and/or project management/coordination of environmental studies for multidisciplinary infrastructure developing projects;

  • Strong customer relationship in liaising with clients and problem solving or negotiation skills;

  • Ability to undertake interdisciplinary technical work and able to work under pressure in a fast work environment;

  • Preferably with good knowledge in environmental assessment; methodologies and modelling tools (e.g. CRTN, AERMOD, CALINE4, etc.)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;

  • Candidates with member qualifications e.g. HKIQEP, HKIE, HKIOA, HKIEIA, CIWEM member is preferred;

  • Candidates with more experience may be considered for the post of Senior Environmental Consultant.
