Working closely with product owners, engineers, clients, partners and suppliers, the role contributes to the development of innovative marine solutions while driving continuous improvement across engineering processes.

Your role

  • You translate operational requirements into safe, reliable and efficient engineering solutions and vessel designs;

  • You perform and coordinate engineering analyses, including stability, hydrodynamics, propulsion and system performance assessments;

  • You prepare, review and approve engineering drawings, calculations and technical documentation, ensuring quality and compliance;

  • You collaborate with shipyards, class societies, suppliers and internal stakeholders to integrate requirements and deliver successful projects;

  • You support inspections, production activities, testing programmes and troubleshooting to ensure engineering integrity and operational readiness;

  • You contribute to innovation, continuous improvement and the development of engineering standards, tools and best practices.

Your track record

  • You have a BSc or MSc degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline;

  • You have relevant experience in naval architecture, marine engineering, R&D, or new-build vessel projects;

  • You possess knowledge of vessel operations, marine safety requirements, and applicable regulations;

  • You can translate operational requirements into practical engineering solutions and perform technical analyses and assessments;

  • You are an effective communicator who thrives in international, multidisciplinary environments and collaborates easily with a range of stakeholders;

  • You demonstrate creativity, sound judgement, and a continuous learning mindset; experience with class approvals, shipyard coordination, vessel inspections, marine design software, and project coordination is an advantage.
