Offshore Planning Coordinator

Job Description

At Fugro, we support clients by delivering high-quality geodata and offshore services that enable safe and sustainable project execution. Within our Marine Geophysics Operations department, we ensure that the right expertise is deployed offshore at the right time.

We are now looking for a highly organised and proactive Offshore Personnel Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you act as the critical link between project teams and offshore personnel. You ensure efficient staff rotations, maintain optimal team compositions, and proactively solve crewing challenges in a fast-paced operational environment.

Your role

• You manage schedules and annual leave planning for all survey staff onboard our vessels;

• You track the utilisation and availability of offshore personnel;

• You coordinate the mobilisation of survey teams using both internal staff and external agencies, aligned with project requirements;

• You act as the central point of contact for stakeholders, including project management, supply chain, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth coordination of personnel deployment;

• You facilitate and oversee the efficient mobilisation process for offshore projects;

• You handle general administrative tasks such as timesheets, travel documentation, invoicing, and purchase orders;

• You may take on line management responsibilities, depending on your capabilities and at the discretion of the Operations Manager once established in the role.

Your track record

• You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams;

• You are highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously;

• You perform well under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;

• You are solution-oriented, proactive, and able to think creatively to mitigate risks and challenges;

• You bring experience in resource management, workforce planning, or a similar field, experience within the offshore industry and familiarity with its terminology is considered a strong advantage;

• You have strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to quickly learn new systems and software;

• You are fluent in English (mandatory); Dutch language skills are beneficial.
