Job Description

We are looking for an Intern Patent Information & IP to join our IP team. In this role, you contribute to patent information searching, analysis, and innovation support, working closely with patent attorneys and technical experts. You help identify relevant patent insights that support strategic decision-making and protect our technology portfolio.
Your role
You conduct prior art searches and review patent literature and technical publications;
You support patent landscape analyses and competitor monitoring activities;
You analyse the relevance of patents and publications for current and future innovations;
You summarise search results and highlight key findings for patent attorneys;
You support freedom-to-operate (FTO) assessments and assist in identifying legal and technical risks;
You assist in reviewing invention disclosures and support the preparation of patent filing documentation under supervision;
You organise patent data, search results, and maintain IP-related databases and records;
You collaborate with patent attorneys, IP specialists, and technical stakeholders across the organisation.
Your track record
You are currently enrolled in a BSc, MSc, or PhD programme in a technical field (e.g. Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science);
You have a strong interest in Intellectual Property and innovation;
You possess strong analytical and research skills and can structure complex technical and legal information;
You are detail-oriented, structured, and have strong written communication skills; You have an interest in becoming a patent attorney or IP specialist and are curious about technology, innovation, and data analysis.
