Job Description
At Fugro, we unlock insights from Geo-data to help create a safe and more liveable world. Our Legal & Compliance (L&C) team is evolving towards more data-driven, scalable, and technology-enabled ways of working.
We are looking for a Legal Operations (Data & Legal Tech) Intern to support a key initiative: structuring and aggregating legal data to enable next-generation legal tools and AI solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of law, data, and technology, contributing directly to the transformation of legal operations
Your role
You collect, consolidate, and organise Legal & Compliance data from various sources;
You structure data to support integration into legal tools and AI use cases, ensuring quality and consistency;
You support the preparation of datasets for legal tech tools and assist in testing AI-driven legal solutions; You organise templates, precedents, and legal documents into a structured and accessible repository;
You support the creation and maintenance of a centralised legal knowledge base; You assist in mapping legal processes and identifying opportunities for improvement and standardisation;
You contribute to workflows, playbooks, and documentation for legal operations;
You collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and IT/data stakeholders and support coordination of data initiatives.
Your track record
You are currently enrolled in an LLB, LLM, BSc, or MSc programme;
You have a strong interest in legal operations, data, and legal technology or AI;
You are detail-oriented and have a structured way of working;
You are comfortable working with datasets and digital tools and can organise complex information;
You have an analytical mindset, are proactive, and able to work independently.
