Fugro will not provide work authorization/sponsorship for this job opportunity.

  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.

  • Perform detailed financial analysis, including trend analysis, margin analysis, and actuals vs. forecast/budget variance analysis.

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with management and corporate standards.

  • Develop clear, professional management presentations and executive‑level slide decks using PowerPoint, translating complex financial data into concise insights and recommendations.

  • Design, enhance, and maintain BI dashboards and reports (financial and operational), ensuring data accuracy, usability, and relevance for different stakeholder groups.

  • Improve reporting structures to move from static reports toward dynamic, self‑service analytics where possible.

  • Support data validation, reconciliation, and integrity across ERP, BI, and downstream reporting tools.

AI & Process Enablement (Core Differentiator)

  • Actively identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and advanced analytics to finance and reporting processes, including:

  • Automated variance commentary and narrative generation

  • Intelligent data validation and anomaly detection

  • Report automation and reduction of manual Excel-based workflows

  • AI‑assisted forecasting, scenario analysis, and pattern recognition

  • Evaluate, pilot, and help implement AI‑enabled tools, platforms, or software that improve efficiency, insight quality, and timeliness of financial reporting.

  • Partner with Finance, IT, and Data teams to translate business use cases into practical, scalable AI solutions.

  • Develop documentation, controls, and governance around AI‑enabled finance solutions to ensure auditability, transparency, and reliability.

Tools, Data & Advanced Excel

  • Use advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas, structured models) for analysis, reconciliation, and ad‑hoc reporting.

  • Support automation and data transformation using tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, or similar technologies (as applicable).

  • Maintain clear documentation for models, reports, dashboards, and AI‑enabled processes.

Stakeholder & Cross**‑Functional Collaboration**

  • Collaborate closely with FP&A, Accounting, Operations, IT, and Data teams to align reporting outputs with business needs.

  • Support end users with training, documentation, and guidance on financial reports, dashboards, and analytics tools.

  • Proactively recommend process improvements that enhance data quality, reduce cycle time, and improve decision support.

  • Able to communicate complex financial and technical concepts clearly to non technical stakeholders.

  • Process oriented, improvement focused, and comfortable working across finance and technology teams.

Job Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.

  • Posses a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related degree.

  • Have 3 years or more of experience in financial analysis, reporting, FP&A, or finance systems roles.

  • Direct experience working with ERP / financial systems, preferably Deltek Vision.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Solid understanding of financial statements, variance analysis, and performance drivers.

  • Comfort working with large datasets and multiple data sources.

  • Demonstrated interest, exposure, or hands on experience with AI enabled tools or automation in finance, data, or reporting.

  • Ability to translate finance problems into AI or automation use cases, even if solutions are developed collaboratively.
