Join Fugro as a Workshop Business Coordinator and play a vital role in supporting a busy, high-performing workshop environment that enables world-class engineering and geodata services. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you’ll be a trusted point of coordination, ensuring systems, documentation and day-to-day processes work seamlessly. Your work will directly support teams delivering projects that help safeguard infrastructure, improve safety, and support a more sustainable world. This is an on-site role in Falmouth, offering a collaborative, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Location & Hours: Falmouth, Cornwall - Full-time (40 hours per week)
Your role and responsibilities
Provide coordinated administrative and operational support across all workshop departments, helping the workshop operate efficiently and safely
Coordinate workshop vehicle administration, including key control, usage logs, documentation checks, inspections and reporting of any issues or damage
Maintain accurate workshop documentation by scanning, filing and keeping records up to date in line with internal processes
Coordinate workshop training activity by maintaining the training matrix, recommending course dates and supporting learning and development needs
Support clear and consistent workshop communication by keeping noticeboards, digital displays and internal updates current
Maintain equipment and drill store records, ensuring databases and documentation are accurate and updated in a timely manner
Work closely with colleagues across operational and support teams to support project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives
What you’ll need to thrive in this role
Essential:
Prior experience in an administrative, coordination or business support role within a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records
Strong IT skills using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and familiarity with other software packages
A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to communicate clearly with people at all levels
Preferred (but not essential):
Experience working in an operational, workshop, engineering or logistics environment
An interest in learning and developing within a technical or operational setting
Working on Wrike Software
Asset management skills are highly desirable
Any prior experience with lifting equipment.
