Job Description

Fugro is a global leader in Geo‑data, and within Marine Geotechnics we rely on high‑quality, consistent and efficiently delivered data to support our clients worldwide. This role combines deep geotechnical expertise with digital workflow ownership. You set the standards for how marine geotechnical data is acquired, processed and delivered, while driving the development and global adoption of digital workflows that make our operations safer, smarter and more consistent. You work closely with digitalisation, product and operational teams across all regions to shape the future of Marine Geotechnics at Fugro.

Your role

  • You define, maintain and govern global geo‑data standards for marine geotechnical acquisition, processing, validation and reporting;

  • You ensure consistent data formats, validation rules and reporting across regions and projects;

  • You own the portfolio of workflows in Marine Geotechnics, building holistic roadmaps, support prioritisation and identify opportunities to standardise, automate and improve efficiency;

  • You shape the business and technology vision for key Marine Geotechnics workflows and own the full lifecycle from discovery to build, adoption and run;

  • You map regional “as‑is” processes and translate them into a unified global “to‑be” standard;

  • You identify opportunities for automation, standardisation and efficiency improvements and contribute to the digitalisation roadmap;

  • You build business cases, validate assumptions and guide delivery teams while prioritising the backlog based on operational value and data quality;

  • You drive global rollout, training and adoption of workflows in close collaboration with regional teams and Customer Success;

  • You act as the bridge between operations, regional representatives and digital product teams, supporting change management and continuous improvement.

Your track record

  • You bring 10+ years of experience in marine geotechnical site investigations, from acquisition to reporting;

  • You understand digital workflows, data models and geotechnical reporting requirements;

  • You have 5+ years of experience in product or workflow management of integrated systems (preferred);

  • You define business value, balance cost versus benefit and manage products through their full lifecycle;

  • You collaborate effectively across regions, disciplines and stakeholder groups;

  • You have a proven ability to lead organisational change and drive successful adoption of new digital ways of working.
