Job Description
Fugro is seeking a senior Head of Product to lead one of its most strategically important digital platform businesses. Based in Nootdorp, the Netherlands, this is a high‑impact role for a product leader who wants to build, scale, and commercialise platforms with real‑world impact. If you are a product leader who wants clear ownership, genuine decision rights, and responsibility for results rather than just roadmap delivery, this role is designed for you.
You will lead a unified product group across ROAMES and PaaS, balancing platform maturity, operational reliability, and global commercial scale. A core part of this role is owning the complete product lifecycle through adoption and outcomes. The global product support team will report into you, which means you will own Customer Success as a product capability, not as a separate function.
You will own a rare dual mandate:
Protect and grow ROAMES, a mature, revenue‑generating digital platform already trusted by major power utilities
Launch and scale PaaS, Fugro’s next‑generation processing platform and future growth engine
You will build an operating model where support signals drive product quality, usability, and roadmap decisions. You will ensure the organisation learns fast, fixes root causes, and improves predictability for users and clients. This is not a greenfield experiment. It is also not a feature‑factory role.
About ROAMES
ROAMES is Fugro’s advanced 3D digital platform for mapping, analysing, and monitoring electricity networks. Using remote sensing, lidar, and intelligent analytics, ROAMES helps utilities reduce risk, optimise maintenance, and lower operational costs. ROAMES already has a strong business case and a mature technology foundation. The challenge, and the opportunity, is scaling globally with confidence.
Your role
Own the unified product vision, value proposition, and multi‑year roadmap for ROAMES and PaaS;
Lead product strategy and prioritisation to balance customer value, delivery capacity, and business outcomes;
Make confident make/buy/partner decisions aligned with long‑term platform strategy;
Enforce disciplined Idea‑to‑Value (I2V) governance from discovery through adoption;
Deliver commercial outcomes including adoption, ROI, and scalable growth;
Drive market rollout and adoption with sales and regional teams;
Ensure product packaging, enablement, and rollout plans are scalable and executable;
Lead the global product support team and build a scalable Customer Success operating model;
Run support with discipline: triage, escalation quality, knowledge management, and root‑cause resolution;
Translate customer friction into structured product improvements and roadmap inputs
Define and track customer success metrics (adoption, reliability, ticket trends, time to resolution);
Align product, engineering, commercial, operations, and support teams to deliver as one system.
Regular international travel is a required part of this role.
Your trackrecord
You have led complex B2B digital platforms and SaaS products with full commercial accountability;
You have scaled platforms across regions and diverse market environments;
You have owned P&L, ROI, and end‑to‑end business case delivery—not just feature execution;
You can balance innovation with operational reliability in mission‑critical, data‑intensive settings;
You have built or led Customer Success and product support functions as part of full lifecycle ownership;
Experience in geospatial, infrastructure, or utilities is helpful but not required.
