Your role and responsibilities:
Elevate Fugro to partner of choice
Lead and coordinate key client account management activities and ensure effective intelligence sharing across the business
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams involved in account delivery
Build and maintain long‑term trusting relationships with key clients
Engage regularly with clients to understand their needs, priorities, challenges and strategic direction
Develop a deep understanding of the Energy Generation market and coordinate client facing activity across the region
Work with the Offshore Wind Strategy Manager to translate strategic priorities into meaningful client engagement
Drive a strong zipper approach by connecting Fugro stakeholders with their counterparts at key accounts to strengthen communication and insight
Create and communicate clear account plans aligned with corporate strategy and regional objectives
Internal coordination
Translate client and market insights into actionable business intelligence
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the implementation of key account plans
Serve as an internal focal point for account management activities
Client project feedback
Proactively gather client feedback and work with relevant teams to address issues effectively
Share insights with the Offshore Wind Strategy Manager and other stakeholders to build a comprehensive view of client sentiment
Support the adoption of innovation by communicating common client challenges to business lines
Maintain strong relationships with project managers and participate in project kick off and lessons learned meetings
Strategy and client and market insights
Work closely with strategy, business development, commercial teams and market analysts to understand market trends and client needs
Translate the offshore wind strategy into growth plans for key accounts
Represent the voice of the client internally to shape proposals, frameworks and contractual approaches
Ensure CRM data is accurate and up to date
Participate in key industry events to stay informed, strengthen relationships and raise your profile as a client engagement leader
Increased business
Deliver measurable improvements in annual awarded revenue with margins that meet or exceed business targets
Increase uptake of innovation
Work with solution owners to promote innovation adoption within key accounts
Align client needs with Fugro innovation and introduce new technologies early in their development
Understand client innovation processes, funding mechanisms and timelines to identify opportunities for new solutions
What you’ll need to thrive in this role
Bachelor degree in a technical, business or marketing discipline
Demonstratable experience in commercial roles, key account management or business development
Deep knowledge of the energy sector and its clients
Management experience in roles such as Commercial Manager, Business Development Manager or Key Account Manager
Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at senior levels
Focus on achieving sustainable results with a strong drive for success
Ability to translate strategy into actionable client engagement plans
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of market dynamics in renewable energy generation
Ability to coordinate across multiple countries and internal teams
Skilled in gathering and interpreting client and market insights
Comfortable representing the voice of the client internally
Ability to support innovation adoption and link client needs to new solutions
Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Dynamics 365 and Power BI is preferred
Passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement
Ability to work collaboratively across regions and functions
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
