Job Description

Falmouth | On-site | Full-time (40 hours per week)

Are you energised by hands‑on work that keeps critical projects moving? At Fugro, you’ll play an important part in enabling the safe and successful delivery of our world‑leading geotechnical and marine surveying projects across the UK and abroad. As part of our dedicated Warehouse & Logistics team, you’ll ensure equipment, materials, and project kits leave our site on time and in perfect condition helping our offshore and onshore teams deliver insights that shape a safe and sustainable future. You’ll work closely with our Logistics Coordinator in a supportive environment where collaboration, reliability, and continuous learning are part of everyday life.

This is an on‑site role in Falmouth, working 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday), with occasional flexibility required during busy periods to support mobilisation deadlines.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Expectations & Deliverables

  • Prepare and dispatch goods for UK and international shipments, ensuring accuracy, safety, and timely delivery.

  • Coordinate closely with the Logistics Coordinator to produce delivery documentation and support shipment planning.

  • Accurately kit materials and equipment for manufacturing using drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM), ensuring teams have exactly what they need.

Responsibilities

  • Check, gather, and prepare components for production, flagging shortages or discrepancies to Production Engineers.

  • Support general warehouse operations, including Goods In duties, when needed to maintain smooth and safe workflows.

  • Assist with the organisation and storage of specific project parts, including items outside standard warehouse areas.

  • Raise purchase requisitions for mobilisations and ad hoc site requests.

What You’ll Need to Thrive in This Role

  • Computer proficiency for processing documentation and raising requisitions.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or goods‑out environment (manufacturing, engineering, or technical setting experience is beneficial).

  • Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail - comfortable working from drawings, BOMs, and documentation.

  • Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced operational environment and collaborate well with colleagues across teams.

  • A positive, proactive mindset and willingness to support wider warehouse operations when needed.
