Are you passionate about Artificial Intelligence and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment?

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic AI student or intern to join Fugro. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to expand their knowledge, develop practical skills, and contribute to real-world AI projects.

Your role

• You identify opportunities to apply AI and automation across diverse domains, including Finance (AI-based forecasting and reporting), Commercial (pricing models, lead generation), and Fleet (competitor vessel tracking), and take ownership of building working prototypes that demonstrate these improvements;

• You develop, implement, and refine AI Agents, ensuring solutions can be prototyped and potentially rolled out for broader use within Fugro;

• You conduct research on emerging AI technologies, best practices, and practical applications, bringing forward suggestions for innovative improvements;

• You collaborate with team members on data preparation, analysis, and visualisation tasks to support prototype development and deployment.

Your track record

• You are currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar);

• You have a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Analytics;

• You are in the possession of basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or Java;

• You are familiar with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch);

• You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and attention to detail;

• You are a good communicator with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
