Job Description

The Opportunity

This role can be based in our Perth, Brisbane or Adelaide office.

Our team are looking for a Geodata Coordinator who is responsible for processing raw data into high quality 3D models to help clients map a specific area, mitigate floods or ensure existing assets stay safe.

This key purpose of the role is to ensure the data is right, managing supplier relationships and ensuring all services are delivered on time, on budget and to our highest standards.

Key Focus:

  • Prioritise processing tasks to meet client expectations

  • Provide updates on each project to the relevant parties

  • Become a Geo-data Specialist for the team in the application of data acquisition and processing principles and processes

  • Ensure products generated are robust from a geospatial accuracy perspective

  • Be across technical innovations and provide advice on integrating those new technologies

  • Work closely with the different services lines to improve efficiencies

About You

This role is best suited to someone who gets excited about the data and its integrity, someone who loves technology and is motivated to be a subject matter expert in this field.

We are ideally looking for:

  • Qualification in Engineering, Geospatial science, Project Management or other relevant tertiary education

  • Strong data management skills

  • High attention to detail and results oriented

  • Be able to look holistically and collaborate naturally with other functions

  • Previous experience in the industry would be of benefit – Power Utility, Remote Sensing and Mapping

We use imagery and laser technology to deliver a complete and accurate 3D virtual model of infrastructure networks and whole cities, helping our clients to map a specific area, mitigate floods or ensure existing assets stay safe.
