Job Description
As a Global Procurement & Supply Chain – Process and Improvement Lead, you lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of procurement and supply chain processes across Fugro’s global operations. This role ensures alignment with international standards such as ISO 9001, driving operational excellence, compliance, and value creation. You are reporting into the Global Procurement & Supply Chain Process, Improvement, Reporting and Data Manager.
Your role
Process Leadership & Optimisation:
You develop and implement standardised procurement and supply chain processes aligned with Fugro’s “One Way of Working” strategy and ISO 9001
principles;You lead process improvement initiatives across P2P (Procure-to-Pay), S2C(Source-to-Contract), inventory management, and supplier performance;
You ensure processes are auditable, documented, and compliant with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards such as ISO 14001 and the maritime ISM where applicable.
Transformation & Change Management:
You act as a change agent within the Procurement & Supply Chain organisation;
You collaborate with PMO and Business Process Experts to ensure alignment of improvement initiatives with strategic goals and compliance frameworks;
You develop training materials, process documentation, and change communication strategies to support adoption and certification readiness.
Digital Enablement & ERP Optimisation:
You partner with IT and ERP teams to enhance IFS functionality and ensure process alignment with system capabilities and ISO-compliant workflows;
You support the rollout of digital tools and dashboards for procurement analytics, compliance, and performance tracking.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance:
You engage with regional business and functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into process solutions that meet international standards;
You ensure processes align with Fugro’s governance, compliance, and sustainability standards;
You support risk assessments and mitigation strategies in supply chain operations;
You establish governance frameworks for process ownership, compliance, and continuous improvement;
You facilitate cross-functional workshops and feedback loops to ensure process relevance, effectiveness, and audit readiness.
Your track record
You are a certified Six Sigma Black Belt;
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field;
You have 5+ years of experience in procurement and/or supply chain, with a strong focus on process improvement;
You have a proven track record in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies;
You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and drive decisions;
You are experienced with ERP systems and procurement platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ariba);
You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills and the ability to lead global projects and influence across a matrix organisation.
