Job Description

Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire — On-site | Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

As our new Data Processor Administrator Assistant, you’ll play a key role at the heart of our busy Laboratory and Data Processing teams, helping ensure the high‑quality data that powers Fugro’s global projects is delivered accurately and on time. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative environment where your work directly contributes to major infrastructure, energy and environmental projects around the world. You’ll work alongside experienced Laboratory Data Managers, programme management teams and technical specialists who will support your development and celebrate your success.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Expectations & Deliverables

  • Support the Data Processing Group and Laboratory Programme Management Team to ensure smooth, efficient project delivery.

  • Maintain consistently high data accuracy and quality, contributing to the reliability of Fugro’s laboratory outputs.

  • Help maintain accreditation standards through strong QAQC practices and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Collect laboratory data from logging equipment and securely upload it to shared systems.

  • Act as a point of contact between laboratory teams—responding to emails, calls and attending weekly update meetings.

  • Support day‑to‑day project administration across Laboratory and Data Processing teams.

  • Promote and follow Fugro’s QHSSE policies, processes and safety culture.

  • Provide general administrative support, including document handling, organisation and data entry as required.

What You’ll Need to Thrive in This Role

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, etc with strong numeracy and literacy skills.

  • A collaborative, people‑focused approach with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully across teams.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and maintain accuracy.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.

  • A willingness to learn new systems and processes, with a proactive mindset.
