Job Description
Join Fugro’s Global Reward Team as Manager International Mobility, reporting directly to the Global Head of Rewards. In this pivotal role, you lead our global employee mobility operations and oversee all aspects of international assignments—including long-term, short-term, and offshore deployments. You play a key part in shaping strategic (policy) decisions around assignment conditions, tax, social security, and immigration.
This is a high-impact management position that blends operational excellence with strategic vision. Collaboration is crucial: you work closely with Fugro’s Tax, HR, and Business managers, as well as external partners, to ensure compliance and efficiency. You also explore innovative approaches to international mobility—whether through outsourcing or expanding internal capabilities.
Your role
You lead Fugro’s International Mobility Team, ensuring seamless delivery of mobility services across all regions, and compliance with global, regional and local regulations;
You work closely as part of the global reward team with other rewards specialists globally, monitor global trends in mobility, immigration, and tax to apply in policies and to drive process improvements;
You manage and evolve policies for long-term, short-term assignments;
You evaluate and implement new models for managing international mobility with a focus on Europe & Africa, including potential more outsourcing of immigration, tax, and social security services;
You act as the primary liaison with corporate tax on international assignment structures and project-based mobility initiatives;
You collaborate with HR and business leaders to align mobility strategies with organisational goals;
You represent Fugro in external mobility forums/benchmarking initiatives and manage international mobility vendors.
Your track record
You have a BSc. in Tax Law or Tax Economics and min 5 years proven leadership experience in global mobility, international taxation or international HR;
You have strong knowledge of international assignment frameworks, tax equalization, social security, and immigration;
You have matured experience in vendor management and outsourcing strategies;
You have a strategic mindset with the ability to lead transformation initiatives;
You are in the possession of excellent stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills and are fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
