The Opportunity

Due to recent project awards, we are seeking a Senior (Subsea) Project Engineer to join our established engineering team for upcoming subsea and ROV projects. This role is based in West Perth and requires occasional project site visits and offshore work.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working with the Project Manager and Lead Engineers to execute project work scopes and regularly interface with clients.

  • Evaluating and enhancing emerging and existing engineering technologies, collaborating with the Engineering team to integrate them into projects.

  • Executing work packages, ensuring delivery meets HSE, quality, and commercial standards.

  • Supervising and guiding project and graduate engineers through design review, constructability, HAZID workshops, and offshore execution.

  • Managing subcontractors and equipment manufacturers, including preparing documentation and overseeing Site Integration Tests (SIT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

About You

We’re looking for a team player who is proactive, collaborative, and takes ownership. You build strong relationships, communicate clearly, and bring a positive, solution-focused mindset.

Your success in securing this role will require:

  • Proven experience in subsea/offshore engineering and project delivery.

  • A Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical, mechatronic, structural, or ocean engineering, or naval architecture.

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project. Experience with specialist software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is also desirable.

  • A full driver’s license.

  • The ability to obtain an offshore survival course and pass the associated medical exam.

  • You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a full, valid work visa.
