We are currently seeking a bright, highly skilled, and motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic marine division. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of high-profile projects in the oil and gas and offshore renewable energy sectors.

Roles and Responsibilities
As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will assist Senior Geotechnical Engineers with site characterisation and foundation engineering for offshore structures. Your key responsibilities will include:
Offshore Fieldwork: Actively participate in geotechnical site investigations offshore, which involves acquiring data, performing laboratory tests, and collecting and processing soil and/or rock samples.
Data Analysis & Interpretation: Manage the process of acquiring, analysing, and interpreting geotechnical data in order to provide accurate and customised services to our clients.
Engineering & Advisory: Evaluate test results, perform engineering analyses under the supervision of senior staff, and provide geotechnical advice by putting acquired data into context.
High-Quality Reporting: Compile all results and analyses into comprehensive, high-quality geotechnical reports for our clients.
Uphold Safety Standards: Observe and follow all company safety rules and procedures, championing a strong safety culture both in the office and offshore.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate excellent technical skills and a passion for learning and development. The key requirements are:
Educational Background: A BSc or MSc degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
Geotechnical Knowledge: Demonstrable knowledge of and interest in soil investigation, soil mechanics, and foundation engineering.
Language & Communication: Excellent communication and language skills in English (both written and spoken).
Personal Attributes: A hands-on mentality with a pro-active, analytical approach. You easily interact with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
Work Authorisation & Travel: You must be an EU member or be in possession of a valid EU work permit. You are willing to travel regularly for offshore assignments (in Europe and worldwide).
Preferred Experience: A first experience in geotechnical engineering within the Oil & Gas and/or Offshore Renewable industries would be considered a strong asset.
