Job Description
Fugro is looking for an Electronics Technician to support ROV production & support facility in Singapore. He/She will report directly to the Electronics Lab Supervisor and to assist in electronic assembly works, QC checks during assembly and run series of tests to make sure the reliability of the products to meet as per our standard.
Must-Have Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
1–3 years of hands-on experience as an electronics technician.
Familiarity with electronic test and measurement tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
Experience in PCB assembly, wiring of enclosures, and configuring electronic systems.
Knowledge of communication protocols (RS232, RS485, Ethernet).
Experience with automated testing tools (Python, LabVIEW).
Technical & Operational Skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting PCB schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
Skilled in troubleshooting at component, board, and system levels.
Capable of conducting QC checks and generating non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Able to configure and test surface and subsea equipment.
Experience in producing test certificates and technical documentation.
Collaborative approach to working with engineering and innovation teams.
