The Americas region is transforming and setting ambitious plans to take our business to a new level. Reporting to the Global Supply Chain BPO, the BPE Procurement will provide regular updates and reports on all new Fugro ERP system implementation. The position requires a close working relationship with the SCM BPO and will report to this person regarding all activities ascertaining to the design, build and roll out of the new ERP system (IFS). This role includes engaging regularly with the wider SCM departments and stakeholders around the business locally, regionally, or globally.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.

  • BPE Member of the SCM team will be responsible for the implementation of the new Fugro ERP system. Build design & roll out of the new Fugro Global ERP system IFS to the given road map. Work with the BPO and other SCM BPE team members. Participate in the relevant country fit gaps. Overseas traveling will be involved.

  • Train members of the SCM globally as required in the introduction of the new ERP system (IFS).

  • With the SCM BPE team be involved and drive the development of 1 standard Global SCM Procedures & Processes for the New Global ERP system (IFS).

  • Develop Global processes, procedures, operating standards and supporting tools for sourcing, purchasing and contract management. Assist the BPO to define the SCM processes for the new ERP system and the relevant IT tools.

  • Assist the BPO in identifying main risks in the SCM area and mitigate these in the ERP system where possible. Ensure compliance with Fugro and legal standards.

  • In  all  aspects  ensure  where  applicable  efficient  working  practices  that  will contribute  and  assist  in  the  ability  of  meeting  cost  saving  targets  and improved quality & delivery times. Ensure accordance to company standards, industry standards, QHSSE policy and local regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.

  • High school diploma is required. Secondary Vocational Education in IT & Supply chain is preferred.

  • Over 3 years of experience in Supply chain and ERP roll outs.

  • NEVI/CIPS or other relevant SCM certificates would be preferred but not essential.

  • Result driven.

  • Good in communicating and engaging with internal stakeholders at all levels.

  • Picks up actions and feels accountable for related actions and results.

  • Drive to change the status quo, and inspiring change.

  • Buy in from senior management, solve issues for the internal customer and satisfy business needs.
