Job Description
At Fugro, we unlock insights from geo-data to help clients design, build, and operate
their assets safely, sustainably, and efficiently. By combining our unique expertise in site characterization, asset integrity, and marine operations with digital innovation, we
support some of the world’s most complex offshore and infrastructure projects. As part of Fugro’s digital transformation, we are investing in scalable software products that connect data, people, and operations across the globe.
VirGeo is Fugro’s flagship digital platform, bringing together geo-data, operational workflows, and digital capabilities into one connected ecosystem. The Insights domain
plays a key role in this vision, creating a shared operational view for both Fugro teams and customers.
As Product Manager – VirGeo Insights, you will own the objectives and roadmap for this domain, connecting stakeholders across the business and shaping how existing and future capabilities come together within the platform.
Your Role
You own the product objectives, roadmap, and backlog for VirGeo Insights, ensuring clear priorities and measurable business outcomes;
You lead the evolution of a portfolio of insight capabilities, bringing together existing products and solutions into a single platform vision;
You connect stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Design, Commercial, Customer Success, and Fugro’s wider software community to drive alignment and execution;
You decide what gets built, enhanced, consolidated, or retired based on customer needs, business value, product strategy, and performance data;
You partner with cross-functional teams throughout the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and validation through delivery and continuous improvement;
You engage directly with customers, users, and operational experts to understand problems, uncover opportunities, and translate them into scalable product solutions;
You champion adoption and value realization by supporting customer engagements, pilots, product positioning, and go-to-market initiatives;
You foster a culture of collaboration, predictable delivery, and continuous learning while occasionally travelling internationally to meet customers and stakeholders.
Your Track Record
You bring 5+ years of product management experience and have owned a product, platform, or product portfolio with end-to-end responsibility;
You have a proven ability to define product plans, manage roadmaps, and deliver outcomes in a complex stakeholder environment;
You excel at connecting people, aligning priorities, and building strong relationships across different teams, functions, and seniority levels;
You combine strong business acumen with the technical understanding to engage confidently with engineering teams on platform, architecture, and delivery decisions;
You use customer insights, experimentation, and data to validate assumptions and make informed product decisions;
You thrive in environments where collaboration, influence, and stakeholder management are just as important as product expertise;
You bring experience in offshore, marine, geospatial, or other data-intensive industries as a plus, but not as a requirement.
