Job Description
As Senior IT Business Analyst – CRM, you play a key role in shaping Fugro’s global CRM landscape and revenue operations capability. You bring clarity, structure and business insight to a complex, multi-region transformation, ensuring the future CRM platform delivers harmonised processes, improved forecast accuracy and measurable business value.
Acting as the link between senior stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Finance and IT, you translate business needs into a global CRM blueprint and execution roadmap. Working closely with Business Process Owners and Technology Portfolio Managers, you drive a standardised global CRM platform, allowing local configurations only where justified.
Based in Nootdorp, this value-driven role sits at the heart of connecting business, IT and transformation. While Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a key strategic programme, the role also covers the broader Customer Relationship domain, including sales solutions and related systems. You will lead business analysis for a global Dynamics 365 transformation across Fugro’s Marine and Land business lines, helping shape a future-fit CRM environment.
Your role
You lead change management, training and adoption, and act as a role model and mentor for the wider Business Analyst team while advising C-level and senior stakeholders.
You act as trusted advisor to senior business stakeholders, Business Process Owners and senior technical stakeholders: you own the business analysis agenda, guide executive decision-making on scope and priorities, and align Sales, Operations, Finance and IT around one harmonised global direction;
You own current-state analysis and requirements gathering: supporting the mapping of end-to-end revenue lifecycles for business lines, CRM-versus-ERP ownership, handoffs and pain points, capturing regional variations;
You validate the proposed KPI framework and assess forecasting methodology and forecast accuracy across regions and business areas;
You guide the production and quality-assure the core deliverables: D365 sales evaluation report, current-state architecture, revenue lifecycle and customer journey maps, Business Requirement Document (BRD), fit/gap analysis and solution blueprint;
You translate the blueprint into build-ready functional specifications and user stories for a single global D365 CE / Dataverse platform, clearly distinguishing global-standard capabilities from local configuration;
You help shape and maintain the global CRM template, common data model and localization approach, managing a controlled backlog of region- and business-area-specific variations to prevent unnecessary customization;
You specify integrations to regional and downstream ERP/finance systems, addressing multi-currency, multi-language, time-zone and data-residency requirements;
You plan and support a phased rollout: build, data migration, integration, testing/UAT with key users and deployment;
Your track record
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field;
You have 7+ years of business analysis experience, including CRM transformation and at least one full-lifecycle, multi-region Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement / Sales) implementation across multiple business units;
You have strong knowledge of D365 CE (Sales), Dataverse modelling and global-template design in a multi-region context, plus revenue-lifecycle, order-to-cash and revenue-leakage/margin-variance analysis;
You are experienced in producing BRDs, fit/gap analyses, user stories and test cases, and are familiar with Power Platform/Power BI, integration patterns and basic SQL for validating KPIs;
You are proactive and self-managing, and a strong communicator able to be the central point of contact for senior stakeholders across regions and both business areas;
Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform certifications are strongly preferred; ITIL/ITSM and data-analysis certifications are a plus. English – fluent; additional languages an advantage.
