Job Description
Join Fugro as a Reporting Engineer to join our Marine Asset Integrity team. Reporting to the Inspection Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, high-quality reporting outputs for vessel and platform-based inspection and survey projects. Working closely with offshore ROV teams, Inspection Engineers, Project Engineers and Data Processors, you will ensure project data is processed, analysed and reported in line with client requirements, industry standards and Fugro’s Integrated Management System.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of offshore inspection and survey projects and would suit an individual with experience in offshore ROV operations, data processing or inspection engineering.
Your role and responsibilities:
Producing and delivering project reporting outputs in line with contractual schedules and client requirements;
Processing, validating and managing survey and ROV inspection data;
Ensuring all deliverables meet project requirements and Fugro quality standards;
Supporting project execution from data acquisition through to final reporting and client delivery;
Working closely with project and operational teams to ensure reporting objectives are achieved;
Maintaining compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements;
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting knowledge sharing within the team.
What you’ll need to thrive in this role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically minded professional who enjoys working with data and delivering high-quality outputs in a fast-paced offshore environment.
You will ideally have:
A degree in Earth Science, Engineering or a related discipline;
Experience working offshore as a Data Processor, Inspection Engineer or in a similar technical role;
Experience of offshore survey reporting and ROV data processing;
Knowledge of reporting software such as EIVA, Integrity Elements and Nexus;
Experience interpreting technical drawings and engineering documentation;
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
A proactive approach with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
