Job Description
Role Purpose
The P2P Intern will support daily Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) operations, gaining hands‑on experience in financial processes, transaction handling, and shared services operations, while contributing to operational efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Support
Assist in processing PO and non‑PO invoices
Support basic data entry and validation in the ERP system (e.g. IFS / TIS)
Assist in vendor invoice tracking and follow‑ups
Operational Support
Support payment preparation activities
Assist in resolving basic queries from vendors and internal stakeholders
Help prepare supporting documentation for transactions
Documentation & Compliance
Ensure proper filing and documentation for audit trail purposes
Support compliance with internal policies and procedures
Assist in maintaining accurate records in SharePoint / system
Month‑End Support
Assist in month-end closing activities (e.g. reconciliations, reporting support)
Support data compilation and validation
Process & Continuous Improvement
Assist the team in identifying minor process improvements
Support simple data analysis or reporting tasks if required
Key Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance
Skills & Competencies
Basic understanding of accounting principles (AP / P2P exposure is a plus)
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness to learn and proactive attitude
Basic Excel skills
Good communication skills
Learning & Development Opportunity
Exposure to end‑to‑end P2P processes
Hands‑on experience with ERP systems
Understanding of shared services operations
