Job Description
Fugro conducts projects all over the world, the Internal Travel Department are responsible for arranging all aspects of travel for offshore and land-based employees.
The Travel Coordinator is responsible for the travel arrangements in their respective country / region and is an exceptional organizer, communicator, multi-tasker and problem solver. They ensure all arrangements are made in line with the company’s policies, while adhering to health and safety guidelines. They will work closely with Project Managers and Project Assistants, ensuring that travelers arrive at the destination with all relevant requirements from visas to transfers and accommodation. Also assists corporate travelers where required with enquiries regarding the online booking tool, comprehensive travel arrangements or any other travel related questions.
Job Responsibilities
Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.
Preparing travel arrangements for project or corporate colleagues.
Providing advice about airline or country requirements and assisting travelers on the use of booking tools, ensuring they are well prepared and informed for every trip.
Provide advice for insurance claims, flight delays, lost luggage etc.
Adhere to company QHSSE standards at all times and demonstrate thorough awareness and compliance.
To undertake any other duties within the department as appropriate within their competence.
Assists with visa processing and other travel related documentation.
Promoting compliance with polices.
Ensures that travel needs are met within the constraints of the company travel budget.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Legally Authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.
Possess or be able to obtain a valid passport.
High school diploma required, Bachelors preferred.
Have 3 years or more of Travel agency experience.
Knowledge of relevant flight regulations and travel documentation is required.
GDS certification preferred.
