Job Description
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Tender/Proposal Coordinator who is responsible for proposal development, from the initial analysis of client requirements through to the proposal preparation and submission. Based in our Perth office, you will work in a multi-disciplinary environment and in close collaboration with the wider Commercial team, your duties will include but are not limited to the below:
Support the Metocean team with request for quotations (RFQs) while liaising with stakeholders to ensure proposals have a solid technical approach and compliant with local standards;
Review tender opportunities, costings, business plans and contracts for current and potential clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives;
Generate proposals and prequalification documents, and coordinate the tender submission preparation process including control of internal tender documentation flow;
Plan, attend and document review meetings and risk assessments held with clients, subcontractors and equipment manufacturers;
Develop proposal costs analysis and pricing schedules while handling client inquiries and undertaking contract negotiations;
Assist the sales function of the Commercial Department and marketing/promotional activities.
About You
We are looking for someone who brings a blend of technical aptitude, commercial awareness and clear communication to our Metocean tendering team. You’ll thrive in a role where attention to detail matters, collaboration is essential and translating complex information into well‑structured proposals comes naturally.
Your success in securing this role will require:
Tertiary degree in either Finance, Business or relevant technical majors in Oceanography and Marine Science;
Demonstrated experience in quote, proposal and tender management in the industry of Metocean, Environmental or Hydrography in combination with operational experience;
Advanced or intermediate in Microsoft Suite and Excel for projects reporting with solid usage of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Strong communications skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders and clients from different levels.

They measure and monitor various parameters, including waves, currents, water temperature, water level, wind speed, and direction, among others.
