In 2017, Fugro deployed its in-transit data collection methodology on two survey vessels, delivering approximately 65,000 km² of crowd sourced bathymetry data to The Nippon Foundation-GEBCO Seabed 2030 Project. We have since expanded that collection capacity to include seven survey vessels with total data contributions now totalling 100,000 km². The vessels listed below are actively collecting in-transit data for the project; in time we intend to incorporate the approach across our entire global deepwater survey fleet.
