Two other long-term IRM contracts in Brazil for Petrobras, both signed in 2011, have seen significant milestones reached by Fugro’s Brazil teams.
In late July 2017, Fugro demobilised the RSV Greatship Rashi after successfully completing six years of IRM services. Its onboard ROV, FCV 3021, delivered an impressive 4,400 dives with over 23,800 dive-hours logged over the duration of the project. Equally important was the uptime of over 98% achieved over the life of the contract, demonstrating the outstanding reliability of the Fugro work class ROVs.
A significant factor in the operational excellence of these crews was the outstanding working environment created onboard the vessels. This was a terrific example of multi-cultural teams coming together with robust, proven technology to achieve a first-class result.
Such is Fugro’s leading position in the IRM market in Brazil that this achievement is far from unique. Another of Fugro’s ROVs, FCV 3067, reached the significant landmark of 4,000 dives during another long-term IRM contract for Petrobras . The system recorded equally impressive statistics in reaching 4,000 dives, including an uptime of more than 99% during 23,300 dive-hours and an average of 450 dive-hours per month.
The achievements of these two Fugro FCV ROVs and their teams highlight the outstanding performance and reliability of Fugro’s systems, the ability of our personnel, and a commitment to deliver high-end IRM services for the Brazilian market.
