Job Description

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the general ledger (incl. monthly reconciliation) of one or more entities
  • Drives and executes the Month End Close process
  • Prepares financial reporting to Fugro Group and external parties
  • Manages the Fixed Assets register and reporting
  • Key point of contact for the Controller of the entities, AP and AR Accountants, Group Controlling, Tax Accountant (in FSSC or Region) and external auditors among others
  • Continuously looks for improvements in the management of the general ledger and the Month End Close and Financial Reporting processes. Initiates and drives improvement projects
  • Works according to Fugro FSSC process model
  • Liaise with external and group auditors to achieve Financial audit closure.
  • Supervise the submission of GST returns, and other Government information as required
  • Other ad hoc requests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience
  • Good knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
  • Audit experience preferred
  • Good excel skill
  • Experience in manufacturing company will be advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competencies: accurate, independent, organized, pro-active, team player
